Otherworld Connections Podcast Ep. 4

A tape head is a “head” and like a tape head, our heads are transducers of information to young children, especially when reading fairy tales. Young children are like reels of tape, inducing information onto their fabric which stays with them throughout our lives. This is why it is important to deeply understand, and live by, the principles and rules encoded in fairy tale. The quality of the signal, being transduced, changes to something that provides a guarantee that the signal is imprinted the correct way. This gives young children the master recording of the principles and rules that have been part of nature and ourselves forever. It’s the best we can do with one of the best tools for kids to learn about true morality and right behaviour.
